From On the River

When I take my shoes off they are cooler, and have room to spread out. I was wearing work boots and thick white socks when I did the assignment. It seems like there is an interesting comparison to be made by the experience of walking on concrete in work boots versus the feel of bare feet next to a river. I was sitting on a rock too.

What happened during: - itches - bugs - wind - rocks - feet flexible - noticed a cut on my toe - rubbed my feet together because they got cold - did not get them wet - my mother and I have a similar big toe

Put my socks back on and then my boots. When I tied my boots the left lace broke, so I double knotted the ends and finished tying. Went back up the rocks and walked onto the grass.
