From On the River
This is the primary outlet of processed water back into the Grand River. It comes out of the Grand Rapids Water Filtration Plant along Monroe Avenue. It runs under Market Street. The primary outlet is under the surface of the river. The concrete shoot seen in the pictures is an overflow structure. The cave-like images are of the water flowing into the lower primary shoot.
