From On the River
The River Inlets and Outlets assignment is about documenting all of the places where water flows in or out of the River. These include streams and creeks, but also industrial and utility ins and outs. The form, use, and history of rivers is determined in many ways by what goes in and what comes out.
How to make a page for a River Inlets and Outlets:
Click the link above. It will ask you to name the page you want to create. Type in a very brief description of inlet or outlet (its only one sample per page.) Ex. “Little Creek South of the Wealthy Street Bridge” After typing in a name, it will bring you to an edit content page where you can upload a main photo for you your sample, type a description of the location, and upload more images. To mark a map location, type in "Grand Rapids" and search for your area. Changing the view to 'satellite' also helps to see landmarks that the other map does not show.
