Back in the Civic Studio on Alabama we talked about times when residents went wild with visual play and celebration. We realized this had happened in Grand Rapids back with the Raft Races. One of our studio members Ryan said his Dad had a bunch of slides from one of the years he and some friends built a raft and did the race. Here are some of those images from Ryan's Dad's collection.
